Diana Lynn Holifield, age 61, passed away April 28, 2026 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO.

She was born July 30,1964 in Oak Lawn, IL, daughter of the late Gerald O McConnell and Judy Fay Burns-McConnell.

Diana was a graduate of Sikeston High School. She enjoyed reading and loved watching Lifetime movies. She loved her cat, Benny.

She was married to Paul Holifield, he preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons, Justin (Krista) Morton and William Cooper both of Sikeston, MO; one brother, Gregg (Jane) McConnell of Sikeston, MO; two grandchildren, Lucas Morton and Tobias Morton; one niece, Rebecca McConnell; one nephew, Kyle McConnell; and her best friend, Lynn Scapino.

There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date, Ponder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
