Diana Sue Pruett Happe passed away November 28, 2025 in Sikeston, Missouri.

Diana was born on January 9, 1949, in Sikeston, Missouri to the late R.G. Pruett and Opal Hastings Pruett.

Diana lived in Sikeston, Missouri and attended the Sikeston Public Schools. After graduation, she attended Southeast Missouri State University where she pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Education and later received her Master's Degree.

Diana is and will be remembered by many of her students, parents, schoolteachers and the faculty members, from her thirty-one years as a Middle School Teacher in Sikeston.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by her spouse, Dickie Ray Happe and one stepdaughter, Karen Sue Happe of Webster Grove, Missouri. Diana leaves behind a host of Family Members and many Friends who all dearly loved her, and all Diana's memories will live on with them.

The Family would like to thank everyone for their love, visits, their support, and prayers and also to those at Sikeston Convalescent Center for their love and care during Diana's stay.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 3, from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 12:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home. Dan Woods will be officiating the services.

Interment will follow in the Sikeston Garden of Memories Cemetery on Murray Lane.

Pallbearers will be Kellen Jackson, Parker Jackson, Tim Jackson, Roger Mayberry, Pete Mayberry, and Dan Woods.
