Dennis Lynn Shelby, age 66, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

He was born March 14, 1955 in Sikeston, Missouri, son of the late Donald and Elizabeth Blaylock Shelby.

Dennis worked as a Truck Driver for USF Holland. He was a member of the Scott County Sheriff's Posse, Bell City School Board member, a member of Sikeston Jaycees, and a member of the Teamsters Local 600 for 36 years.

He was married to Patricia Eaves Shelby, she survives of the home in Bell City, Missouri.

Other survivors include one son, Denny 'Paul' (Angela) Shelby of Sikeston, Missouri; two daughters, Jessica (Mike) McGill of Jackson, Missouri and TeLisha (Jeremy) Snider of Hendersonville, Tennessee; two sisters, Vicki Shelby of Sikeston, Missouri and Laura Shelby of Pinebluff, Arkansas; and four grandchildren, Kelton 'Acie', Cadence 'Cricket', Max 'Rock', and Izy 'Coot'.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donnie Shelby and Ron Shelby.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
