Dennis Mullenix, age 74, of Sikeston passed away August 5, 2021 at Landmark Hospital of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

He was born May 19, 1947 in Brilliant, Alabama, son of the late Dallas Mullenix and Lucille Hicks Mullenix.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the 82nd Airborne Division during the Vietnam War, and had worked as an automobile mechanic before retiring.

He is survived by one brother, Frank Mullenix of Sikeston.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 13, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.  Pastor Jerry Stevens will officiate.

Burial will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
