Obituary

Delorise June Fair, age 87, passed away September 24, 2021 at her home in Sikeston, Missouri.

She was born October 10, 1933 in Cardwell, Missouri, daughter of the late Bethel Barnes and Joycie Richardson Barnes.

Delorise was a member of Church of Christ in Vanduser, Missouri and had worked as an operator for Southwestern Bell until retiring in 1987.

She is survived by two sons, Reginald (Denise) Fair of Kansas City, Missouri and Jon (Cathy) Fair of Wildwood, Missouri; two daughters, Dana (Ed) Deidiker of Worden, Illinois and Beth (Brett) Lawson of Memphis, Tennessee; three brothers, Darrel (Ellen) Barnes of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Dale (Sandy) Barnes of Heber Springs, Arkansas, and Eddie (Melba) Barnes of Leachville, Arkansas; three sisters, Shelby Scofield of Bradenton, Florida, Glenda (Jim) Gray of St. Louis, Missouri, and Terry (Buddy) Mills of Lubbock, Texas; six grandchildren, Caleb Fair, Drew Fair, Sam Lawson, Matthew (Hannah) Fair, Joey (Christine) Cumbo, and Sarah (Jeff) Kamler; and five great-grandchildren, Riley Kamler, Charli Kamler, Ilias Cumbo, Issa Cumbo, and Jude Fair.

In addition to her parents, Delorise was preceded in death by one sister, Wilma Sue Allen.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 2, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.  Buddy Mills will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Sikeston Memorial Park Cemetery.
