Deborah Kaye Wolford, age 70 of East Prairie, MO, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at her home.  She was born December 5, 1954, in Wyatt, MO, to the late Jim Sherrion and Shirley Eaves Sherrion.  Deborah had worked as a LPN for many years, retiring after having worked for Aspire Senior Living Center in East Prairie.  She took her job as a nurse seriously and loved taking care of her patients.  In her spare time she enjoyed fishing, camping with her family at the river, playing Bingo and cards.  She always enjoyed any family event.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Phillip Nelson of the home; one son, Jason (Melinda) Brown of Mt. Pleasant, TX; one daughter, Kara Shea (Roy) Shaw of East Prairie; two brothers, David Sherrion and James Sherrion; and one sister, Gwen Stephens.  She has two bonus children, Mandee Nievar and Melissa Bawcum. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, Dylan (Madilyn) Brown, Clayton (Riley) Parker, Madalyn (Tucker) Riggs, Emma Parker, Lilly Shaw, Austin (Courtney) Shaw, Morgan (Derek) Masters, Katee Bawcum, River Nievar, and Brook Nievar; and her great grandchildren, Mally, Langston, Emmett, Katie-Jo, Brynleigh, Layken, and Tristan, with two more on the way.  She has an abundance of friends and family that love her, most refer to her as Nan or Nana.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 28, 2025, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 1 p.m. in the Shelby Chapel, with Bro. Stanley Triplett of Blessed Assurance Ministries in East Prairie officiating.

Interment will follow in Dogwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jason Brown, Kara Shea Shaw, Dylan Brown, Clayton Parker, Roy Shaw, Austin Shaw, and Tucker Riggs.
