Obituary

David Bruce Faulkner, age 84 of East Prairie, MO, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026, at Aspire Senior Living Center in East Prairie.  He was born June 16, 1941, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Bill Faulkner and Mary Braeden Faulkner and had served in the United States Air Force.  He was later employed as an electrician for Emerson Co. in St. Louis, MO, retiring following over 30 years of service.  He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union (IBEW).  He loved music, and learned to play drums at a young age, later performing with the Horizons Band.

Survivors include two sons, Tim (Teresa) Brooks of East Prairie and Dave Faulkner of East Prairie; two sisters, Nancy Dollins of Festus, MO and Sharon Hranicka of Iowa; three grandchildren, Brandon Siars Guzman, Timmy Siars and Frankie Melton; and two great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his daughter, Candice Nolting, who passed away in 2014; one grandson, Gabriel Wilkes, who passed away in 2008; and two brothers, Bill Faulkner and Randy Faulkner.

A celebration of David's life will be held for family and friends at the home of his son, Tim Brooks, on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 1 p.m.

Caudle-Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.
