Obituary

Darron Ray Noisworthy, age 77, a resident of East Prairie, Missouri, formerly of Charleston, Missouri, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2024, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born January 6, 1947, in Mississippi County, Missouri, to the late Zan Noisworthy and Elva Edwards Noisworthy.  Darron was a graduate of Charleston High School and had attended Southeast Missouri State University.  He was well known throughout the area as being an excellent interior decorator and painter. He was a member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church in East Prairie.  Darron was a big history buff, owning quite the collection of history books and antiques.

Survivors include one brother, Stevie (Janet) Noisworthy of Charleston; several nieces and nephews; and a very special cousin who was like a sister to him, Marilyn (Charlie) McCoy of East Prairie.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Danny Noisworthy.

Graveside services were held Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Dogwood Cemetery, with Bro. David Dowdy officiating.
