Darrell Wayne Hunt, age 60, passed away December 14, 2021 at his home in Sikeston.

He was born October 12, 1961 in East Prairie, son of David Ray Hunt and Nancy Yvonne Chaney-Hunt of Sikeston.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by four brothers, David Allen Hunt of Portageville, Verlan Eugene Hunt of Sikeston, Bradley Hunt of Sikeston and Stanley Hunt of Portageville; three sisters, Lavonda Hardin of Sikeston, Deborah Seyer of Oran, and Sherry Babb of Sikeston; and one girlfriend, Robin Banger.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Miles & Johnnie Hunt and Russell & Lela Pearl Chaney.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 20, from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral services at 2:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Hunt, Stanley Hunt, Robert Seyer, Joe McClellan, and Tyler Hunsperger.
