Dale Hardin Branam, age 67, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021, at his home in East Prairie, Missouri.  He was born December 14, 1953, in Barnes Ridge, Missouri to the late Louis Hardin Branam and Ella Mae Allred Branam, and was employed by Bunge for 33 years.  Dale was a veteran, having served in the United States Army.

Survivors include his love of 26 years, Shirley Hutson Branam of the home; one son, David Hardin (Tami) Branam of Doniphan, Missouri; three daughters, Amy Sue Ella Branam (fiancé Mitchell McFarland) of Memphis, Tennessee, Crystal Dale Branam of Marston, Missouri and Sarah Jane Branam of Riverside, California; and two sisters, Brenda (Orval) Twenhafel of Murphysboro, Illinois and Tammy (Jerry) Griffin of East Prairie.  Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Gracie Jean Branam, John David Branam, Caleb Daniel DeWeese, Kyle David DeWeese, Krysta Rose Perkins, Charles Andrew Perkins, Kaitlyn Scallion, Chelsea Scallion and Lauren Scallion; and four adopted grandchildren, Linley, Louis, Ruby and Aralynn.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by one grandson, David Hardin "D.J." Branam, II; two brothers, Ira Odell Branam and Travis M. Branam; and one sister, Carla Denise Jones.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 17, 2021, beginning at 12 noon until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, with J.T. Thomason, VNA Hospice Chaplain, officiating.

Interment will follow at East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors.
