Sikeston, Mo- Cheryl McElwain, age 83, passed away November 17, 2021, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

She was born October 16, 1938, in Des Moines, Iowa, daughter of the late Marion and Maurine Ridgeway Pruitt.

On December 25, 1955, she married Dean Lee McElwain, who proceeded her in death in 1987.

Survivors include one son, Mark (Gina) McElwain of Sikeston, Missouri; three daughters, Cristi Gardner of Syracuse, New York, Michelle (Donald) Erickson of Nevada, and Aimee Brewer of Tifton, Georgia as well as a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Private services will be conducted at a later date.
