Cheryl Denise McDonnold, age 61, passed away November 29, 2025.

She was born May 30, 1964 in Los Angeles, CA, daughter of the late Troey McDonnold and Reba Ruff-McDonnold.

Cheryl was a member of Blodgett Community Church and had worked at Dairy Queen in Charleston, MO for 10 years. She loved playing piano, singing, birdwatching, and her cat, Midnight-the love of her life. She enjoyed the holidays, and her favorite thing was spending time with her family.

She is survived by one son, Troey (Melody) Sitzes of St. Louis, MO; one brother, Michael McDonnold of Sikeston, MO; two sisters, Rebeca Mapes of Kendallville, IN and Sandy McDonnold of Blodgett, MO; two grandchildren, Ethan Sitzes and Charlotte Sitzes; and a host of extended family.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 5, from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 12:00 noon at the Morehouse Assembly of God Church.

Burial will follow in the Blodgett Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mike McDonnold, Tony McDonnold, Jacoby McDonnold, Thomas McDonnold, Troey Sitzes, and Ethan Sitzes.

Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Featherston and Troy Holland.
