Charlett Gene Poe, age 76 of East Prairie, Missouri, passed away Monday, September 5, 2022, at her home.  She was born January 30, 1946, in East Prairie, to the late Julia Ada Denning.  She was a homemaker and of General Baptist faith.

On May 8, 1965, in East Prairie, she married Chester Howard Poe, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are two daughters, Lisa Dawn (Ricky) Curvin of Fort Orchard, Washington and Lorie Leigh (Richard) Kolwyck of East Prairie; one sister, Yumekia True of Sikeston, Missouri; three grandsons, Ricky Curvin Jr., Gabriel Curvin and Aaron Lay; and two granddaughters, Chelsie Sierra Poe and Alyssa Noel Jernigan.

In addition to her parents, Charlett was preceded in death by a baby daughter, Lana Poe; two brothers, LeRoy Clark and Robert Elden Clark; and one sister, Lois Davenport.

Services will be private under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
