Charles Edward Shoffner, age 66, passed away, Sunday, July 17, 2022, at the Hunter Acres Caring Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

He was born July 3, 1956 in New Madrid, Missouri to the late Benny Shoffner and Flossie Ivy-Shoffner.

Charles loved having fun with family and friends. He always enjoyed going out to eat whether it be at McDonalds or Burger King, and loved drinking a "Pop" and eating some popcorn. He really loved playing games with the staff of the care facility he resided at, and the other friends he enjoyed being around. He never met a stranger, and always had a smile.

He is survived by his brother, Willie (Ophelia) Shoffner, of Illinois, and his youngest brother Maroney Shoffner, of Sikeston.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Sue Forrest; Jeraline Jackson, and Mary Shoffner.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.

A private interment will follow.
