Charles Edward Ruedrich, age 80, passed away February 8, 2026 at his home in Sikeston, MO.

He was born December 22, 1945 in Hayti, MO, son of the late Artie Heath and Hubert Carl Ruedrich.

Charles owned a successful Charles' TV & VCR Shop for 30 years and retired in 2002. He was an active member at Life Point Worship Center in Jackson, MO. He loved to play music and was a big influence on family members.

On April 9, 1965 he married his wife of nearly 61 years, Margie Darlene Hughes-Ruedrich, who survives of the home in Sikeston, MO. He was a loving husband and father, together they have four children.

Also surviving are his children, John (Sarah) Ruedrich of Cape Girardeau, MO, James (Mary Jean) Ruedrich, Lisa (Donald) Massey, and Charles Kirk (Tabatha) Ruedrich all of Sikeston, MO; one brother, Paul Ruedrich; one sister, Songa (David) Turley of Sikeston, MO; 7 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Ruedrich and Jerry Ruedrich; and one sister, Lavern Wright.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 12, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home. John Ruedrich and Ken Allen will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Matthews Community Cemetery at Matthews, MO.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Ruedrich, Josh Ruedrich, Aaron Massey, James Ruedrich, Justin Ruedrich, and Danny Copeland.
