Charles Leondress Parker, age 61 of East Prairie, Missouri, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  He was born January 27, 1962, in Sikeston, Missouri to Ruth Yvonne Thomas Hopper who survives of East Prairie.  He was a self-employed general contractor and a veteran of the United States Army.  Charles loved the outdoors, enjoying fishing and camping.  He also loved to spend time woodworking.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his stepfather, James Leroy Hopper "Dad" of East Prairie; one brother, Donald Joel Parker of East Prairie; two sisters, Michelle Reata Parker of East Prairie and Melodiee Faith Parker of Glenwood, Iowa; one half-sister, Cassie Mann of Douds, Iowa; and three aunts, Virginia Hedgecoth, Charlotte Thomas and Christine Thomas.

Charles was preceded in death by his father, Charles David Parker; and one sister, Monica Kay Parker.

Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.  No public services are scheduled at this time.
