Charles Andy Oliver, age 78 of East Prairie, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at his home.  He was born March 31, 1944, in Mississippi County, Missouri, to the late Erlen Oliver and Bertie Calhoon Oliver.  The family moved to California in the 1950s, where they lived for many years.  Charles Andy later returned to East Prairie in the early 1970s and had remained here since.  He had been employed as a fuel station attendant for a number of years.  He enjoyed watching television shows and movies, and was known for being quite the jokester.

Survivors include one son, Charles Andy Oliver, Jr. of East Prairie; one brother, Freddie Oliver of the state of Arkansas; special aunts, Halene DeLeon and Bobby Wicker; nieces, Charlotte Hundley and Judith Oliver; several cousins; as well as special friends and neighbors who were always there for him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Oliver.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at First Christian Church in East Prairie, with Bro. Martin Lucas officiating.
