Charles Edward Guinn, age 80, a resident of East Prairie, MO, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024, at his home.  He was born April 7, 1943, to the late Fred Guinn and Suanna Richards Guinn and served the U.S. Army in Vietnam.  He was employed in construction for many years and was a member of the International Boilermakers Union.  Charles was a member of Blessed Assurance Ministries in East Prairie, as well as the Masonic Lodge and American Legion.  He enjoyed collecting things of all kinds and loved both flower and vegetable gardening.

He was married to Sandra Guinn, who preceded him in death.

Charles is survived by two daughters, Brenda Marzolf of Knoxville, TN and Melissa Tortorice of Houston, TX; two brothers, Freddie Guinn of Florida and Melvin Guinn of East Prairie; one sister, Betty Wiser of West Middlesex, PA; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife and parents; one daughter, Linda Fallis; one brother, John Guinn; and two sisters, Barbara Kemp and Patsy Triplett.

Services will be held Saturday,, March 23, 2024, at Blessed Assurance Ministries Church in East Prairie. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until time of memorial service at 1 p.m., with his nephew, Bro. Stanley Triplett, officiating.
