Charles Earl Bagby, age 88, passed away Friday, January 27, 2023, at his home in Sikeston, Missouri.

He was born July 27, 1934, in rural Parma, Missouri to the late Earnest Bagby and Lola (Pippins) Bagby.

Charles was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston and a veteran of the US Air Force, having served during the Korean War.

He was a former aircraft pilot and had been an employee of the Federal Aviation Administration and served in many locations throughout the United States.

On May 31, 1953, he married Doris Jean (Myrick) Bagby who survives of the home in Sikeston.

Other survivors include two sons, Charles Bagby, Jr. (Robin) of San Antonio, Texas and Alan Bagy (Sandra) of Marietta, Georgia; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 31, at 12:00 p.m. at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, Missouri.

Interment will be held at a later date due to weather conditions.
