Obituary

Charlene Marshall, 82, passed away on October 20, 2021, in Springfield, MO.

Charlene was born on July 21, 1939 in East Prairie, Missouri to Charles and Georgia Woods Williford. She graduated from East Prairie High School in May of 1957. She married William Thomas Davis, Sr. on December 22, 1956 and they had two sons, She then divorced in 1964. She married again in August 1971 to Edward Marshall and they had one daughter together. Combined the couple had four children Tom, Mike, Jennifer and Melissa.

Charlene was employed by Walmart for 30 plus years as a customer service manager while raising her family and farming beside her husband. She enjoyed gardening and the outdoors as well as decorating her home for all of the holidays. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, vacationing at the beach and playtime at the casinos.

She is survived by her children, William T. Davis, Jr. (Michelle); Michael Davis (Graciela); Jennifer Norton (Corey) and Step-daughter Melissa Marshall McKee. Grandchildren Jordan, and Brant (Hillary) Davis, Kelsye (Ben) Baudoin, Matthew Davis, Cecilia (Dylan) Johnson, Carter (Bri) Norton and Kinsey Norton. Great grandchildren Henri' Leblanc and Aiden and Jackson Davis. Her brother Jerry (Sandy) Williford and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers Paul, James (Dub),and Kenny Williford. Also her step son-in-law, Bobby McKee.

Visitation for Charlene will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Shelby Funeral Home beginning at 1:00pm with the Service to follow at 3:00 pm in East Prairie.  Bro. Martin Lucas will officiate. Graveside Service will be at 4:00pm at IOOF Cemetery in Charleston , MO.

Pallbearers will be Tom Davis, Mike Davis, Matthew Davis, Brant Davis, Carter Norton and Corey Norton.
