Carroll L. Garner, age 91, passed away on October 19, 2021, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

He was born February 13, 1930 in Gray Ridge, Missouri, son of the late Wiley Garner and Effie McArthur Garner.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served during the Korean War, a member of the Henry Meldrum American Legion Post 114, and had worked as an Insurance Adjuster for Farm Bureau before retiring.

On June 2, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri, he married Darlene Margaret Karl Garner, she survives of the home in Sikeston, Missouri.

Other survivors include one son, Tom (Petra) Garner of Bragg City, Missouri; one daughter, Patricia Smith of Sikeston; one sister, Nola Pattingill of Ozark, Missouri; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

A private memorial service will be held with full military honors followed by burial in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, Missouri at a later date.
