Carolyn Louise 'Carol' Hayden, age 73, passed away December 9, 2022 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

She was born September 19, 1949 in Dudley, Missouri, daughter of the late Levi Adolph Wells and Edith Mary Phillips-Wells.

Carol was of the Baptist belief. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with family and friends - especially her grandchildren who were her everything.

On November 23, 1968 she married Lowell Hayden; he survives of the home in Bertrand, Missouri.

She is also survived by one daughter, Tammie Louise (John) Wikowsky of Ravenden Springs, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Taylor (Logan) Burdin, Eithan (Brittany) Wikowsky, Sarah (Caleb) Benbrook, and Brook Malear; and eight great-grandchildren, Willow Burdin, Ezra Burdin, Kaylin Burdin, Eliza Wikowsky, Logan Horn, Melanie Gardner, Adryen Simmons, and Ryleigh Cook.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by one son, Marty Eugene Hayden; and eleven brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 11 am to 12 pm. A graveside service will follow at Dogwood Cemetery at 1 pm.
