Carolyn Joy (Lee) Dunn, age 77, a life long resident of East Prairie, MO. passed away Wednesday, January 26 ^th 2022, at the Bertrand Nursing & Rehab Center.  She was born on January 15 ^th , 1945 in East Prairie, Missouri to the late Marion Marshall and Jessica Cantwell Lee.

Carolyn was a graduate of East Prairie High School.  She attended Southeast Missouri State University and later worked for the East Prairie school district.

On August 8, 1963 she married the late Billy Earnest Dunn.  Together they operated Bill Dunn Farms, Inc while Carolyn was also a real estate agent and owned and operated a small convenience store.  When she was not working, she could be found in the kitchen preparing to feed an army.  To be loved by Carolyn, was to be fed by Carolyn.

Carolyn is survived by two sons, Billy (Catherine) Dunn of Greenwood, MS and Lee (Jennifer) Dunn of East Prairie, MO.  These two sons gave her five of her greatest joys, granddaughters Jessica Clayton Dunn of Nashville, TN; Jocee Caroline and Ella Claire Dunn, both of East Prairie, MO; along with two grandsons, Cooper Lee (fiancé Anna Arrington)Dunn of Memphis, TN and Decker Lee (McKenzie Slaughter) Dunn of East Prairie, MO.  Also surviving are 2 close cousins Sharon Ray and Flynn (Trina) Ray, both of East Prairie, MO.

Grave side services will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, January 28th at the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Martin Lucas officiating.
