Carole Elaine Soto, age 63 of East Prairie, MO, passed away Friday, June 7, 2024, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO.  She was born December 21, 1960, in Dorena, MO, to the late Dick Linley and Maude Jackson Linley.  Carole was a homemaker and of Christian belief.  She enjoyed marble hunting and fishing.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include one son, Benjamin (Kim) Gammons of Hot Springs, AR; four daughters, Beverly (Clay) Tidwell of East Prairie, Becky (Clift) Lewis of East Prairie, Sally Yanez of Bloomfield, MO, and Lupe (Andy) Sitzes of East Prairie; four brothers, Willis (Karen) Linley of Michigan, Harry Linley of East Prairie, Harold Gene (Dorothy) Linley of East Prairie, and Keven Linley of Sikeston; two sisters, Linda Riley of Michigan and Anita (Neil) Willis of East Prairie; 18 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Carole was preceded in death by her twin infant sons; two brothers, Dickie Joe Linley and Vick Linley; three sisters, Sally Linley, Ann Johnson, and Mildred Cross; and two brothers-in-law, Kenneth Riley and Clifford Duty.

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, June 11, 2024, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 11 a.m. in the Shelby Chapel, with Bro. Stanley Triplett officiating.

Interment will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Terry Duty, Chris Riley, Junior Riley, Jay Linley, Albert Smith, and Troy Linley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Digger Johnson, Mark Gammons, Richard Linley, Ben Linley, Jessie Willis, Mike Linley, Kyle Linley, Jim Linley, and Sergio Campos.
