Lettie Carlene Gilliland, age 84, passed away October 17, 2022 at Chaffee Nursing Home in Chaffee, Missouri.

She was born August 14, 1938 in Canalou, Missouri, daughter of the late Carl Greenlee and Willie Mae Hilton-Greenlee.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Missouri and had been an ombudsman for Home Health Care and a nurse's aide in different nursing homes before retiring.  She loved crafting, sewing, and frogs.

She was married to Jerry Gilliland in 1955, he preceded her in death April 15, 2003.

Survivors include one daughter, Tammi McCraw of Jackson, Missouri; one brother, Sherman Greenlee of New York; one sister, Linda Russell of Georgia; and one grandchild, Sydney McCraw of Jackson.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Cletus Greenlee, Curtis Greenlee, Bill Greenlee, and Doyle Greenlee; and two sisters, Bessie Morrow and Cleona Kunkel.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 21, from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 10:30 a.m. at Ponder Funeral Home.  Jeremy Sells will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Blodgett Cemetery at Blodgett, Missouri
