Carl Adams, age 80, passed away January 13, 2025, in Moberly, MO.

He was born February 15, 1944, in Limestone, Arkansas, son of the late William Leonard Adams and Nina Faye Bohannon Adams.

Carl was a man of faith, he was a member of the Church of Christ in Morehouse, MO. He loved the outdoors, hunting, and spending time on the farm. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He absolutely loved his granddaughters, Papa's pretty girls "ppg" was his favorite phrase. He was a devoted son, husband, and father and is going to be missed so much by his family.

He worked for Malone & Hyde/Fleming for more than 30 years and then worked for Alan Wire for 8 years. He was also a beekeeper for a while selling honey to local markets and people in the community.

He was married to Betty Talley Adams for 38 years until her time of passing in 2001.

Survivors include two daughters, Camille (Mike) Pierce and Monica (Kenneth) Harris; three brothers, Harley Adams, Leo Adams, and Glenn Adams; one sister, Sheila Adams; and two granddaughters, Erin (Jason Closen) Harris and Savannah (Chris Langston) Harris.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 19, 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, MO. A burial will immediately follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO
