Carin Cay Schulte, age 65 of East Prairie, Missouri passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021, at Missouri Delta Medical Center ER in Sikeston, Missouri.  She was born September 9, 1955 at Air Force Base, England to the late Elma Jane Jones Brannum and Paul W. Brannum who survives of Texas.  Carin was employed by St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri before ill health forced her to retire.

She was married to Tony Schulte, who preceded her in death.

Carin is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sondra Hedge (Chris Ling) of East Prairie; one brother, Walter Brannum of East Prairie; one sister, Linda Brannum of East Prairie; three grandchildren, Maegan Hedge (Holli Ling), J.B. and Bobbie Sue Hedge and Shaylee, all of East Prairie; and four great grandchildren, John Austin, Bentson, Hayvin and Addie Mae.

Besides her mother and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Christi Labernidia of California; and one sister, Elizabeth Jane Hedge of California.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
