Bobby Joe Riggins, 72, of East Prairie, MO passed away August 29th , 2025 at his home
in East Prairie.

He was born August 25, 1953 to James Wade Riggins and Mary Sue (Melton) Riggins.

Bobby was a cherished member of First General Baptist Church and took care of his
mother at home for most of his life.

Survivors include brothers Sammy (Beverly) Riggins, Steve (Angie) Riggins, Jerry
(Faye) Riggins, Larry (Brenda) Riggins, Tony (Regina) Riggins, and Wayne Riggins;
sisters Wanda (Bob) Ellis, Rosemary (Roy) Fechner, Betty Sue Shands, Wanita Brock,
and Brenda Kay Patrick; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Herschel Riggins, and one sister, Mary Ann Riggins.

The Riggins family would like to thank the community at First General Baptist for the
years of fellowship Bobby found in their church.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 3, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral
services at 1:00 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, MO.
