Bobby Glen Ray, age 83, formerly of East Prairie, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Countryside Center for Rehab in Arlington
Kentucky. He was born February 14, 1940 in Dorena, Missouri to the late Ed Ray and Tress Sutton Ray. He was married to the late Mary Jessalean Priest in Dorena on October 11, 1958.

He worked for General Motors in St. Louis for 20 years, and then started farming for himself in Arlington, Kentucky before retiring. Bobby enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by one son, Brady Ray of Columbus, KY; one daughter, Theresa Rhodes of Arlington, KY; one brother, Charlie Ray of Columbus, KY; seven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Ray Junior; eight brothers, Bill Ray, Blaine Ray, Ed "Man" Ray Jr., Felix Ray, Bud Ray, Merl Ray and Joe Ray, and one sister, Glady Ray Love.

Visitation will be Friday, November 24, 2023, at Shelby Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Dogwood Cemetery.
