Bobby Henry, age 72, passed away May 31, 2025 at his home in Sikeston, MO.

He was born November 7, 1952 in Murray, KY, son of the late Beatrice and Eunice Henry.

In 1972 he joined the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, after training, he served abroad on the USS John F. Kennedy.  He attended Murray State University, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in 1979 and received his master's degree in 1981.  He was Executive Director for Sikeston Housing Authority.

On April 13, 1972 at First Baptist Church in Murray, KY, he married Judith "Judy" Adams-the daughter of William C. and Loraine Adams.  They were married for 53 years; she survives of the home.

He is also survived by three daughters, Melissa Henry (Tim) Morris of Sikeston, MO, Lori Henry (Aaron) Bunting of Campbell, MO, and Meredith Henry (Preston) Hipes of Clarksville, MO; and his grandchildren, Abigail Arndt, Amelia (Mia) Arndt, Harrison Arndt, Henry Arndt, Aden Morris, Sam Bunting, Sarah Bunting, Will Bunting, Paxton Hipes, and Piper Hipes.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald E. Henry and Jerry M. Henry.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 6, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 12:00 noon at Ponder Funeral Home. Jason Williams, pastor of First Christian Church, will officiate.
