Bobby Gene Ditto, age 68 of East Prairie, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  He was born October 26, 1953, in New Madrid, Missouri to Rosa Camilla Loomis Ditto who survives of East Prairie and the late Edmund Ditto.  He retired from Essex Wire & Cable Co. of Sikeston, Missouri.  In his spare time, he loved to shop at flea markets, ride his 4-wheeler and hunt.  He exercised by walking daily, and never met a stranger.  His grandkids and great grandkids meant the world to him, they gave him so much joy in life.  He was of Baptist belief.

He married Wanda Riggins Ditto in 1977, and she survives of the home in East Prairie.

In addition to his wife and mother, Bobby is survived by one son, Kyle (Chasity) Ditto of East Prairie; three daughters, Sonya (Todd) Gregory, Renee Sweet, and Tracy (Brooks) Griggs, all of East Prairie; three brothers, Teddy Ditto, Jackie Ditto and Danny Ditto, all of East Prairie; and three sisters, Shirley Grisso of East Prairie, Cynthia Massey of Benton, Missouri and Debbie Minehart of New Madrid, Missouri.  Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Tailor Revelle, Haleigh Myers, Billy Myers, Bradley Ditto, Brooks Griggs V, Kylianne Ditto and Kadyanne Ditto; and four great grandchildren, David, Layni, Easton and Mazzie, with one great grandson, Korbin, on the way.

He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, James Stone; and one great granddaughter, Leigh-Avy.

Visitation will begin at noon until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, with Bro. Martin Lucas officiating.

Interment will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home.
