Blanche Kelso, age 95, passed away February 8, 2026 at Meadow Brook Nursing Center in Bolingbrook, IL.

She was born January 5, 1931 in Haggarville, AR, daughter of the late Luther Thronebury and Ella Young-Thronebury.

Blanche had worked as a bookkeeper for many places before retiring.

On June 5, 1948 at Piggott, AR she was married to Harley Kelso who preceded her in death in 2006.

She is survived by two sons, Gary (Nancy) Kelso of Lemont, IL and Vic (Cathy) Kelso of Orland Park, IL; one daughter, Sandra (Glenn) Noordhof of Sikeston, MO; one sister, Jean Thronebury of Warrensburg, MO; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 16, from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Sikeston Memorial Park Cemetery.
