Billy Ray Willis Sr.,  age 70, passed away March 15, 2025, at his home in East Prairie, MO.  He was born August 19, 1954, in New Madrid, MO to the late Floyd B. Willis and Kathleen Ward Willis, and was employed by Bryant Farms in Dorena, MO for many years.  Billy loved fishing and hunting.

On September 12, 1970, in East Prairie, he married Geraldine Carter, who preceded him in death March 11, 2010.

Survivors include three sons, Stephan (Katina) Willis of East Prairie, William Wesley (Kris) Willis and Billy Ray (Kelly) Willis Jr., both of South Shore, KY; two daughters, Shawna Rene Johnson and Latonya Gene Huus, both of East Prairie; one brother, Gerald Willis of Michigan; three sisters, Karen Ann Riley of Michigan, Geraldine Griggs and Anita Willis, both of East Prairie; thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, Billy was preceded in death by one brother, Lonnie Wayne Willis; and three sisters, Kathy Willis, Rosetta Willis and Mary Willis.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025, beginning at 12 noon until time of service at 2 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, with Bro. Sonny Jackson officiating.

Interment will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
