Barbara Lequetta Haynes, age 53, of New Madrid, Missouri passed away November 16, 2023 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

She was born June 26, 1970 in Sikeston, Missouri, daughter of the late Thomas Earl Lingle and Clara Bell McCann-Lingle.

She was married to Gerald Dale Haynes of New Madrid for 27 years.

Barbara loved going to auctions, fishing, playing cards with family, and traveling.

She is survived by two sons, Christopher Denning and Gerald Dale Haynes, Jr. both of New Madrid, Missouri; two brothers, Terry Lingle of Wappapello, Missouri and Norman Lingle of Sikeston, Missouri; two sisters, Doris Thomas of Branson West, Missouri and Ethel Adams of Sikeston, Missouri; one granddaughter; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by two brothers, Charles Thomas Lingle and Bill Lingle.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 19, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where funeral services will be held on Monday, November 20, at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow in the Sikeston Garden of Memories Cemetery.
