Barbara Rowleen Bright, age 80 of Anniston, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Aspire Senior Living Center in East Prairie, Missouri.  She was born October 18, 1941, in Samburg, Tennessee, to the late Rowland Keeton and Pearl Johnson Keeton.  She was a graduate of Anniston High School Class of 1961 and was a driver for the State of Missouri New Dawn State School before her retirement. She was of Baptist faith.

On March 13, 1963, in East Prairie, she married Jessie Lee Bright, who survives of the home.

Barbara is also survived by her son, Berry Bright of Anniston; and one grandchild, Berry (Elyssa) Bright, Jr., of Anniston.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Bryant Lee Bright, who passed away in 1973; two brothers, Harry Keeton and Noie Keeton; and one sister, Joyce Simmons.

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 5, 2022, from 4 – 7 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 6, at 11 a.m. in the Shelby Chapel with Bro. Mike Johnson officiating.

Interment will follow in Anniston City Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Mike Duncan, Marvin Hatton, Gary Keeton, Chuck Baker, Jordan Jackson and Kelvin Payne.
