Audra Marie Garcia, age 54, of East Prairie, MO, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024, at the home of her sister in Bertrand, MO.  She was born May 13, 1969, in North Branch, MI, to Brenda Harmon Bennett and Vickie Joe Linley.  Audra was self employed in insurance sales and held a college degree.  She loved to sing, have cookouts with her family, and tell jokes.  She was a business owner and was devoted to taking care of her family.  Her pride and joy was her son, Carlos.

Survivors include one son, Carlos Garcia of East Prairie; two brothers, Troy Linley of East Prairie and Terry Maynard (Rachel) of Florida; three sisters, Lena Savage of Bertrand, Morgan Chesson (Soloman) of Chesapeake, VA, and Rachel Maynar (Roy) of Sweeny, TX; her nieces and nephews she helped to raise, Gary Compton, Jr. of Wisconsin, Tiffany Compton of Nashville, TN, Jeremy Compton (Parvin Klassen) of Smyrna, TN; Chessica Compton of Lavergne, TN, and Danielle Linley, Bebop Linley, Troy Linley, Jr., Preston Linley, and Bridget Byrd, all of East Prairie, Samantha Compton of Smyrna, TN, and Rachel Butler of Tennessee; and a close friend who assisted in her caregiving, Jessica Sprouse.  A host of great nieces and nephews also survive.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 12 noon.  Family and friends may gather at 1201 W. 430th Rd., East Prairie, MO.
