Ashley Lynn Jackson, age 40, a resident of East Prairie, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at her home.

She was born August 15, 1983, in Jefferson City, Missouri, to David Pepple and Geri DeAngelis.

Ashley married James Jackson on July 11, 2010, at The Waters Edge in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He survives of the home.

Ashley was an art teacher for East Prairie High School. She enjoyed painting, photography, crafting, and spending time with her family. She was crazy about her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include four sons, Alex (Dorothy) Jackson, Kruize Jackson, and Kullen Jackson all of East Prairie and Mason Miller of Commerce; two daughters, Ivy (Tyler) Wolford of Matthews, and Natalie Miller of East Prairie; two grandchildren, James Jackson of East Prairie and Posie Wolford of Matthews; one brother, Cody Pepple of Chaffee; two sisters, Skylar DeAngelis of Owensville and Kari Pepple of St. Louis; stepmother, Staci Pepple of Chaffee; stepfather, Gary DeAngelis of Owensville; and one grandmother, Maxine Pepple of Chaffee.

Ashley was preceded in death by two grandfathers, David Pepple Jr. and Joe Kever; and one grandmother, Delfaye Kever.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023, beginning at 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, with Coy Dowdy officiating.

Interment will be at the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Benji Shands, Lee J. Shands, Jerred Jackson, Cody Pepple, Garret Pepple, Justin Willson, Nathaniel Shands, and Tyler Wolford.
