Arthur Lyle Massey, age 59, passed away September 27, 2024, at his home in Benton, MO.

He was born December 8, 1964, in St. Louis, MO, son of the late Davis Dixon Massey Sr. and Lilma Iris Robertson Wheatley.

Arthur was a self-employed mechanic. He had a talent for working on vehicles, he was an amazing mechanic. He could figure out what was wrong with a vehicle over the phone. His passion was fishing, hunting, specifically rabbit hunting, and his family. He loved his family very much! He was very generous with his time and gifts.

Survivors include two sons, Jeffery Lyle Massey of Wentzville, MO and Bradley James Massey of Benton, MO; four daughters, Jennifer Marie Massey of Scott City, MO, Shiann Nichole Sutton of Leancker, TX, Marissa Grace Massey of Killeen, TX, and Isabella Rosita Massey of Killeen, TX; three brothers, Davis Dixon Massey Jr., Clifford Ray Wheatley of Dexter, MO, and Marcus Isacc Wheatley, of Cape Girardeau, MO; one sister, Elizabeth Pauline Massey of Advance, MO; and two grandchildren Noah Cole Massey and Emma Grace Massey.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 30 at Ponder Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a Funeral service to follow at 5:30 p.m.
