Anita Joyce Parker, age 81, died September 11, 2021, at her home.

She was born November 17, 1939 in East Prairie, Missouri, daughter of the late Cecil Lynch and Helen Dale Peters.

Mrs. Parker was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in West Memphis, Arkansas.

On January 6, 1957 in Charleston, Missouri, she married Carl Vernon Parker; he preceded her in death in 2000.

She is survived by four sons, Carl L Parker (Chris) of Omaha, Nebraska; Mark Steven Parker of Memphis, Tennessee; Stanley Wayne Parker of Palm Springs, California, and John David Parker (Cindy) of Ponce Inlet, Florida; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Also, two sisters, Helen Virginia Joco of Bertrand, Missouri and Robbie Jo Haddock of Diehlstadt, Missouri; and one brother, John B. Lynch of Demotte, Indiana.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Rev. Cecil Dale Lynch, Donald Ray Lynch, and Carl Melvin Lynch.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 17, at 11:00 a.m. at Ponder Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at the IOOF Cemetery in Charleston, Missouri.
