Amari Lynn Finney, beloved daughter of Heather Lance Finney and Aaron Finney, went to her Heavenly home on November 27, 2025. She was born on October 3, 2025, in Cape Girardeau. Though her time on earth was brief, Amari filled every moment with light, love, and sweetness that touched all who knew her.

Amari cherished the comfort and joy of her family. She adored her siblings — Liam, Isaiah, and Annabelle Finney — and especially loved being rocked and sung to by her big brother. She found happiness watching movies, gazing at the glow of the Christmas tree, and snuggling close in the loving arms of her parents. Her mama's milk brought her comfort and contentment, and being held, cuddled, and loved was where she was happiest.

She is deeply loved by her grandparents, Krystal and William Walker, and Michael and Angela Finney; her aunt and uncle, Ciara and Terry Burton; and her many cousins — Ellie, Emily, Edyn, Ember, Waylon, Terry Jr. (TJ) Burton, and Kade Finney.

Amari was preceded in death by her grandfather John Lance Jr., and her great-grand parents William and Mildred Finney, who now welcome her with open arms.

Amari's presence brought immeasurable joy, and her absence leaves a silence beyond what words can express. She will forever be remembered, cherished, and loved beyond measure.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 5 from 10:00 a.m.  until the time of services at 12 noon at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, MO.

Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Aaron and Heather Finney, Ciara, Terry, Ellie, and Emily Burton.
