Amanda Lynn Myrick-Hicks, age 44 of Sikeston, Missouri, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023. She was born August 24,1978, in Sikeston, Missouri to Roy Lee Farmer and Lena Myrick Farmer. Amanda married her husband Shawn Hicks of Sikeston in 2021, who survives of the home.

Amanda enjoyed going out to eat, camping, fishing, and early morning phone calls to her family. She was a well known face at Cheers in Sikeston. She loved her job as a bartender, and met many friends while working. Amanda's best enjoyment in life was spending time wither her loving family.

In addition to her husband and parents, Amanda is survived by two children, Keri Lynn Hafford of Sikeston, and Ayden Jaxin Thompson of Matthews, Missouri; three sisters, Lee Anne Chinloy of Maryland, Sherina Leachelle Sharp of Sikeston, and Jennifer Dawn Farmer of Malden; and one granddaughter soon to arrive, Malenia Lynn Craig.

She is preceded in death by one brother Brian Dale Farmer.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 25th at the Sikeston Armory from 1pm - 3pm.
