Alice Hawkins, age 76, of East Prairie passed away Friday, October 14, 2022, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

She was born January 24, 1946, in East Prairie to the late Sylvia Sisk.
On June 15, 1979, in East Prairie she married LeRoy Wade Hawkins who preceded her in death.

She had been a factory worker before retiring and was always known to be fearless, headstrong, and simply one of a kind. She enjoyed collecting things, crossword puzzles, listening to music, watching the Grand Ole Opry, a favorite of hers since it was aired on the radio, gospel music, classic rock.

She is survived by one daughter Rebecca Lynn "Becky" Bramlett of Rockford, IL; one sister Pauline McMikle; two brothers Robert Sisk of Bertrand, and Gary Sisk of East Prairie; and one grandson Rayden O'Dell Bramlett.

In addition to her mother and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Sisk, and Kenneth Sisk; and two sisters, Wilma Goar and Lorine Burnett.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 19 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where the funeral service will be Thursday, October 20 at 11:00 a.m.  Bro. Martin Lucas will officiate.

Interment will follow immediately at the Dogwood Cemetery in Dogwood, Missouri under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home.
