Aimee Jeanette Huckaby, age 50 of Jackson, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024, in Cape Girardeau, MO.  She was born October 16, 1974, in Kenosha, WI to the late Nancy Kumlien.  Aimee was most recently employed by Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau, where she worked as an LPN.  Her hobbies included reading, watching Golden Girl sitcoms and cooking shows on television, and spending time with her pets.

Survivors include two sons, Austin Huckaby and Marcus Huckaby, both of Cape Girardeau, MO; two brothers, Clay Tidwell (Beverly) of East Prairie, MO and Nathan Tidwell of East Prairie; one grandchild, Lachlan Williams of Michigan; her aunt, Peggy Pipkin of Athens, GA; a special friend, Jerry "Pete" Boyer; as well as many extended family members and friends.

In addition to her mother, Aimee was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Marleigh Grace.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, October 22, 204, from 5 – 7 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Interment will follow at a later date.
